Volunteers are at the heart of Culture in Sports, and each month we are proud to recognize someone whose work, leadership, and commitment help move our mission forward. This month, we are excited to spotlight Dr. Siena Morgan, our Writing Director.
Siena brings a powerful blend of experience, curiosity, and purpose to Culture in Sports. In her role as Writing Director, she helps guide and support our growing network of writers, contributors, and storytellers from around the world. Her work plays an important role in helping Culture in Sports share meaningful ideas, elevate diverse voices, and continue leading conversations about leadership, organizational culture, athlete development, and the future of sport.
For Siena, the opportunity to serve in this role brings together many of the areas she is most passionate about. “This organization brings together the things I’ve loved most about sport: organizational management, leadership culture, development, and the opportunity to return to my journalistic roots,” Siena shared. “I’m really looking forward to working with our incredible writers all over the world, who bring their own cultures and experiences to the broader Culture in Sports ecosystem.”
That global perspective is one of the many reasons Siena’s leadership is so valuable. Culture in Sports is built around the belief that positive change in sport requires collaboration, conversation, and the willingness to learn from people with different experiences. Siena’s work helps create space for those perspectives to be heard.
As Writing Director, Siena is helping strengthen the way Culture in Sports tells stories, publishes ideas, and supports contributors who are passionate about leadership and culture in sport. Her leadership helps ensure that our articles and written content continue to reflect the depth, quality, and mission-driven focus of the organization.
Anna Schollaert, Chief of Staff at Culture in Sports, shared her appreciation for Siena’s impact: “Siena is a great team player, and it’s clear that she genuinely cares about her volunteer work here at Culture in Sports. Her leadership, positive attitude, and willingness to step in and help with any task makes her a tremendous asset to our organization. We are lucky to have her as part of our team!”
Dr. Jeremy Piasecki, Executive Director of Culture in Sports, also emphasized the importance of Siena’s contributions: “Siena represents so much of what makes Culture in Sports special. She brings thoughtfulness, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to helping others share their voices. Her leadership as Writing Director strengthens our organization, supports our writers, and helps us continue building a platform that influences positive change across sport. We are grateful for her work, her perspective, and the care she brings to this role.”
Culture in Sports is incredibly thankful for Siena’s leadership, dedication, and belief in the power of storytelling. Her work helps us continue growing as an organization and helps ensure that the conversations we lead are thoughtful, inclusive, and impactful.
