Robert Boland is a sports attorney and educator who has negotiated more than 100 player and endorsement contracts, led two major university programs in sports business at New York University and Ohio University, which is historically the first university program to study sports as a business and ranked as the #1 program in the world 7 of the last 9 years. He served in the unique role of Athletics Integrity Officer at Penn State for five years from 2017-22 He currently is a full-time faculty member at Seton Hall Law School. He has maintained over the last decade a boutique sports advisory practice consulting with leagues, owners, coaches and players on sports law and business issues currently with the Shumaker Law Firm.
