Jurgen Klopp is a German football (soccer) manager who is currently in charge of Liverpool Football Club. He has had successes in his home country when managing Borussia Dortmund winning the Bundesliga twice, a German Cup and the German Super Cup twice too. He also came very close to an underdog victory in the Champions League with them but lost out in the final to fellow German side Bayern Munich due to a goal from Arjen Robben with one minute to go.
Jurgen Klopp’s main successes and recognition as a top manager however has come from his time in charge of Liverpool where he still is now. This is because he has been seen for how well he can man manage players and also change a club around in quite a short space of time. Liverpool were not where they used to be, often finishing in mid-table in the Premier League and were no where near the top team they used to be. However, with Klopp’s coaching skills it took Liverpool just under 3 seasons with him to reach the Champions League final, but they lost to Real Madrid. Despite this, Klopp managed to motivate them and change a few things around at the club to get them to the final the season after and this time they won it beating Tottenham Hotspur 1-0.
Possibly his biggest achievement though, was in 2020 winning Premier League because it was the first time Liverpool had won the English top division since 1990 and they had never won it since it changed to being called the Premier League.
All of these achievements show that Jurgen Klopp is a very good manager and a brilliant coach due to his man management, leadership, and tactics in order to make Liverpool one of the best teams in the world again. Many more coaches should look at what he has done and aspire to be like him.
